Two Public Holidays in June in the Republic of Bashkortostan

On June 6, Muslims celebrate Kurban-Bayram, and on June 12, Russia Day is observed nationwide. Both days are official public holidays in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

This year, Kurban-Bayram falls on Friday, June 6. Employees working a standard five-day week will enjoy three consecutive days off: June 6, 7, and 8. The workday on Thursday, June 5, will be reduced by one hour.

If an employee’s annual paid leave includes June 6, their leave will automatically be extended by one day.

Russia Day on June 12 is also a public holiday. As a result, four consecutive days off are expected: June 12, 13, 14, and 15. The workday on Wednesday, June 11, will be shortened by one hour.
